ALTER terms of sale

Products and orders

ALTER offers costume items, accessories and other products themed around Halloween and the gothic world. Each product page states the model, the options and the quantity sold. Outfits, scenery and accessories shown in the photos are not included unless the product page says otherwise. These items are intended for dressing up and leisure; they are not protective equipment. Check the model, option, quantity, delivery address, currency and total before confirming an order with an obligation to pay. Order confirmation is sent by email.

Prices, promotions and payment

Prices are shown in euros for France and Spain and in US dollars for the United States (at Shopify’s exchange rate). Prices, discounts, shipping costs and applicable taxes are shown before confirmation. Promotional codes apply under the conditions stated when they are issued (validity period, discount, number of uses, whether they can be combined). Available payment methods appear in Shopify’s secure checkout.

Availability and delivery

Orders are prepared within 0 to 1 business day, then shipped by tracked international shipping to France, Spain and the United States. Estimated receipt is 10 to 14 calendar days after ordering, preparation included; this is an estimate, not a guaranteed date. Shipping is €4.90 below €50 after discounts and free from €50 (USD equivalent). If an item is unavailable we contact you; no substitute is shipped without your agreement. An order we cannot fulfil is refunded.

Withdrawal and returns

You have 14 days from receipt to notify us of withdrawal, then 14 days from that notice to return the product, using a tracked shipment. The refund includes the original standard shipping and is made within 14 days; it may be postponed until we receive the product or you provide proof of dispatch. The direct cost of returning items when you change your mind is yours to bear. Write to contact@alter-global.com before sending your parcel; the return address is given in the returns policy.

Statutory guarantees and complaints

Your statutory consumer rights apply, including the legal guarantee of conformity (two years in France, three years in Spain) and, in France, the guarantee against hidden defects. To report a defect or make a complaint, write to contact@alter-global.com. Costs arising from a non-conforming product are not treated as a simple change of mind. These terms do not limit the mandatory rights you have in your country of residence.
